Amanda Colfax is a pastor, worship leader, author, mentor, entrepreneur, and digital innovator with a passion for seeing people encounter Jesus, discover their God-given purpose, and boldly walk in their calling.

After radically encountering Jesus as a young woman, Amanda’s life became a testimony of what God can do through surrender. Her journey has taken her through personal loss, grief, entrepreneurship, leadership, ministry, church planting, and seasons that required her to rebuild from the ground up. Through every chapter, one message has remained at the center of her ministry: your purpose is greater than your pain!

Amanda and her husband, Gordon Colfax, serve as the Senior Pastors of Purpose Church in Salem, Oregon, a growing ministry centered on helping people know God’s purpose for their lives and His purpose in the earth. Together, they are passionate about building healthy Kingdom community, developing leaders, equipping the five-fold ministry, winning souls, and raising up men and women who will carry the Gospel into every sphere of influence.

Amanda is known for preaching messages that combine biblical truth, prophetic ministry, deliverance, healing, identity, leadership, and practical transformation. She travels preaching and ministering at churches, conferences, revivals, and gatherings, with a particular passion for reaching people who have experienced brokenness, rejection, grief, trauma, or seasons that made them question whether God could still use their lives.

Before stepping fully into pastoral ministry, Amanda built a successful career in business. In her twenties, with no construction or real estate background, she built and scaled a home investment company that acquired more than 20 properties within several years. That experience gave Amanda a unique perspective on faith, business, leadership, innovation, stewardship, resilience, and what it means to build something from vision to reality.

Today, she uses those experiences to equip others through Five Fold Purpose Mentorship & Coaching, where she mentors emerging leaders, ministers, entrepreneurs, and purpose-driven believers who desire clarity, accountability, spiritual growth, and practical development in their calling.

Amanda is also the co-founder of MentorU, a digital platform created to help mentors, churches, coaches, teachers, and leaders launch and scale online mentorships, schools of ministry, coaching programs, masterclasses, and educational communities. Her vision is to help Kingdom leaders use technology and innovation to expand their reach while creating sustainable systems for teaching, discipleship, and transformation. She loves seeing ministers create generational wealth and this new app has helped Christians obtain that dream!

She also does her On Purpose Prayer Calls Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 8AM Pacific across all of her social media platforms.

Her ministry and story have also reached Christian television audiences, including appearances on the Christian Television Network and BET’s The Word Network. Whether she is preaching from a pulpit, leading worship, mentoring a future leader, developing a business idea, creating digital solutions, or sitting across the table from someone rebuilding their life, Amanda carries the same conviction: God can use anyone who is willing to surrender, serve people, remain teachable, and count the cost of following Jesus.

Amanda carries a strong passion for prophetic ministry, soul winning, revival, leadership development, and raising up the next generation of Kingdom builders. She believes the Church should not simply gather people, but equip them to know who they are, understand what they carry, and fulfill the assignment God has placed on their lives.

Outside of ministry and business, Amanda treasures life with her husband, Gordon, their family, and the community God has entrusted to them.
