Created with purpose.
Called to live it.

Purpose Church was born through years of prayer, obedience, and God’s confirmation. What began as a simple word from God to step into something new slowly became clearer as He confirmed the vision through prayer, prophetic voices, and seasons of faithful service.

In 2026, Pastors Amanda and Gordon Colfax knew it was time to step into the new work God had been preparing. On Resurrection Sunday, April 5, 2026, Purpose Church was officially launched.

The heart behind the name is simple: we believe every person was created by God with purpose. Purpose Church exists to help people know God, grow in their faith, discover who He created them to be, and walk confidently in their God-given purpose both in their lives and on the earth.

Whether you’ve known God for a long time, you’re just getting to know Him, or you have a rough past and feel like life has counted you out, there’s a place for you here. Whether you’ve struggled with addiction, experienced church hurt, didn’t come from the best family, or have walked through real brokenness, our heart is to remind you that your purpose in God is greater than the pain you’ve experienced. You can belong before you believe. And you can walk alongside people who have been through some of the same things, found Jesus in the middle of it, and discovered that their story wasn’t over.
